'Stand' is a sculptural work by Mark Stoner under the West Gate Bridge in Spotswood that consists of 35 concrete columns, each commemorating a life lost in the collapse of a span of the bridge during construction in 1970. The columns define the edge of the place where the span fell. The work was completed in time for the 35th anniversary of the event in 2005.

There has been significant structural work on the bridge in the past year, including installation of some impressive scaffolding, and some cute protective hats for the sculptural columns.
